Vision and mission

Vision and  mission

Our faith in young people is great. We are convinced that young people have more skills and aspirations than they and many adults think. eduScrum validates that students get the best out of themselves and their team. That makes teaching really worthwhile for all parties involved. eduScrum is a framework for a cocreative process and supporting.

In a class working with eduScrum you will see small teams that take the initiative to get to work. They put their scrum board up on the wall, have a short deliberation while standing, change their post it memos and get to work. Students work independently and take responsibility for their own effort and that of their team members. They get more fun in the subject, work quicker through the curriculum and get better results. While working they develop important skills like planning, honouring appointments, reflecting and giving feedback.

Besides that, eduScrum sees to it that youngsters go through a positive personal development. In their team they are being appreciated because of their qualities and they experience they fit in and are needed. This enhances confidence in themselves and each other in a beneficial way. Because eduScrum assumes that there are endless possibilities for improvements, students acquire a positive  and prospective mind-set.

More than ever young people nowadays need confidence, team skills and a positive mind-set. In a society where the number of elderly people increases more and more, there are high expectations from young people. Worldwide they are confronted with all kinds of crises. eduScrum inspires them to become “complete” people who can be significant for their team. This is how eduScrum equips them to contribute to a better world in a positive way.

It brings us much gratification to contribute to this by continuously improving eduScrum.
